Stephanie’s Alps divide ultra hardtail

Another bike for an ultra race, this time a little bit smaller!
I built this frame for @stephanie_quadranti for her to race the @alpsdivide in a few months.

I think designing effective smaller frames is one of the most challenging tasks a framebuilder can take on. Building a frame for a smaller person always requires toeing a fine line, because you're forced to juggle opposing elements of the geometry.

Stephanie needed a bike that would be comfortable and capable, with as much framebag space as possible to tackle the 1000km of the @alpsdivide with enough snacks. The frame is put together with @reynoldstechnology 853, Columbus stays and a variety of @paragonmachine parts, as ever.

We got some really nice @hope_france components to round out the build, including a 155mm Hope Evo crankset. Lovely stuff! I'm a sucker for anything anodised.
